What ImpactMatrix does for a nonprofit
ImpactMatrix is an AI-powered humanitarian coordination platform. A nonprofit uses it to post Needs, receive and rank Offers through AI Match, claim corporate surplus in Gifts in Kind, search disaster-specific supplies, open beneficiary cases, create shipments, confirm deliveries, issue IRS-compliant tax receipts, run a private partner network, and watch live disaster alerts. Nonprofit plans are seat-based from $29.99/month, and every subscription includes ImpactVolunteer at no extra cost.
What you can do
Six things your team can do in the first week of the trial, using the buttons that are actually on the screen.
Post what you're short of — cots, box fans, pallets of water, warehouse space, a refrigerated truck, bilingual intake volunteers. Category, quantity and location are what the match engine reads, so specific asks get specific answers.
Every Need you post is auto-matched against live Offers and ranked by relevance, location and capability. You review a scored shortlist instead of working a phone tree.
Browse Gifts in Kind listings from companies clearing surplus, then claim what you can actually store and distribute. Accept or reject, then track it in Received Goods.
Pick the hazard — Hurricane, Tornado, Flood, Wildfires, Winter Storms, Earthquake, Drought — and get priority supplies near you from verified retailers, or ask AI Intelligence.
Create a shipment from a matched Offer or claimed GIK, keep chain of custody, then confirm delivery at the receiving end. The receipt is generated when delivery is confirmed.
Bring your partners in by single email or Bulk Upload CSV, then stand up an Internal Matrix — a private, branded network where your coalition trades needs and offers before anything goes public.
Nonprofit pricing
Seat-based. Pick the plan from the dashboard when the trial ends — nothing is charged before that.
National deployments: contact sales. Foundations use the same seat structure. Every plan includes ImpactVolunteer at no extra cost.
How a nonprofit gets running
Start the 30-day trial
No credit card. You land on the dashboard, invite your team from your seat allotment, and pick the plan from the dashboard whenever you're ready.
Post your real asks
Use Create Need for the three things you're currently chasing by phone. Post what you can spare as an Offer — trailer space, a forklift hour, cold storage.
Work the matches and keep the paper
Rank responses in Needs Intelligence, claim GIK, ship, confirm delivery. Receipts and distribution reports with SDG tags come out of the work itself.
Why nonprofits end up here
The problem
Blue-sky days are spreadsheets and reply-all threads. Then a storm turns and you're matching an offer of 4,000 bottles of water against three shelters, a church van and a warehouse that closes at five — with a board asking for numbers on Monday.
What the platform does
Needs and Offers live in one searchable network with six organization types on it — nonprofits, foundations, government, suppliers, business and academia. Matching, surplus claiming, disaster supply search, shipments, casework and live alerts sit in the same product, not in five subscriptions.
What you can hand a funder
A confirmed delivery record, an IRS-compliant tax receipt for the donor, a distribution report with SDG tags, and a match score history that shows why a resource went where it went. That's the packet your funder, your board and your auditor already ask for.
Not a listing board, not a CSR portal, not an EOC system
Most tools in this space do one side of the job. Surplus marketplaces list goods but stop before the truck. Employee-giving suites move cash and volunteer hours, and treat in-kind as a request form. Emergency operations software runs incident boards but was never built to match a food pantry with a pallet of diapers. ImpactMatrix runs the whole line: the ask, the match, the move, the proof — plus a private network for your coalition and a public network for everything else.
Use ImpactMatrix when
You need goods and people to actually move between organizations, with delivery proof and receipts at the end, and you want to be running this week rather than after a procurement cycle.
Use something else when
You need a warehouse ERP with barcoding and pharmaceutical serialization, an official public alerting system, or a cash-assistance disbursement rail. We're not those, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Questions
How much does ImpactMatrix cost for a nonprofit?
Nonprofit plans are seat-based: Starter is $29.99 per month for a single user, Growth is $24.99 per user, Community is $19.99 per user, and Enterprise is $14.99 per user. National deployments are priced by contacting sales. Every plan includes ImpactVolunteer at no extra cost.
Is there a free trial, and do I need a credit card?
There is a 30-day free trial and no credit card is required to start it. You get the dashboard immediately and pick a plan from inside the dashboard when you're ready. Nothing is charged during the trial period, and your team seats are available from day one.
Is this the same as matching gifts?
No. Matching gifts in the U.S. usually means an employer matching an employee's cash donation. ImpactMatrix matches a posted Need to a posted Offer or a Gifts in Kind listing — goods, transport, space, equipment and expertise moving between organizations, not payroll-matched cash.
Does a nonprofit have to pay for the goods it claims?
Gifts in Kind listings are donated surplus, so the goods themselves are given rather than sold. Delivery arrangements and any tax-receipt settings are set by the donor on the listing. Find Supplies is different: that searches verified retailers when you need to buy.
Can our coalition or VOAD keep its coordination private?
Yes. Internal Matrix is a private, branded partner network with its own Needs, Offers, Shipments, Deliveries and Members tabs, plus Internal Chat separate from public ImpactChat. You choose what stays inside the coalition and what goes to the open network.
