Somewhere your coalition will say what it's actually short of.
Some coordination should happen inside the coalition first.
Internal Matrix is a private, branded partner network inside ImpactMatrix. Your coalition trades Needs and Offers, runs Shipments and Deliveries and talks in Internal Chat behind your own branding — then takes to the public network only what you want the public network to see.

What Internal Matrix is
Internal Matrix is a private, branded partner network within ImpactMatrix. It has its own tabs for My Resources, All Needs and Offers, Shipments, Deliveries and Members, counters for Internal Needs, Internal Offers and Total Resources, its own Create Need and Create Offer actions and requests, and Internal Chat that is separate from the public ImpactChat. Organizations use it to coordinate inside a coalition before anything goes to the open network.
What you can do
Coalition coordination with the door closed.
Put your coalition's name and identity on the network your partners log into. For a VOAD, a diocesan network or a funder-convened cohort, that framing is what makes members treat it as theirs.
Post asks and capacity that stay inside the coalition. Some needs shouldn't be public — a shelter's shortfall, a family's specific situation, an unannounced closure.
Three counters — Internal Needs, Internal Offers, Total Resources — give a coalition convener a capacity picture that used to require a round of phone calls before every meeting.
Move goods between members with the same custody and confirmation records as the public network, without publishing the movement.
Coordination rooms for members only, separate from public ImpactChat, kept next to the needs and shipments they're about.
See who's in, who's active, and who joined but never posted — the coalition health metric nobody has time to compile manually.
Standing up a coalition network
Brand it
Add your coalition's branding so members recognize where they are.

Bulk Upload CSV from the partner list you already maintain, with a message explaining what moves here.
Run the weekly call off it
Internal Needs, Internal Offers and Total Resources replace the pre-call round of emails. What needs wider reach goes public.
Why private and public both matter
The problem
Coalitions run on trust and specificity. A member won't post "we're 200 cots short and our warehouse lease ends Friday" to an open network, so the honest picture never gets written down and the convener works from rumor.
What the platform does
A branded private network with its own needs, offers, shipments, deliveries, members and chat — sitting alongside the public network rather than instead of it.
The artifact
A coalition capacity picture: internal needs, internal offers and total resources, current, without a pre-meeting phone round.
Not a group chat, not a public marketplace
A messaging workspace gives you rooms but no resource ledger — capacity lives in scrollback. A public marketplace gives you reach but not discretion. Internal Matrix is a private resource network with the same operational machinery as the public one, and a bridge to it when you want reach.
Use ImpactMatrix when
You convene or belong to a coalition that needs a shared, current picture of capacity and a private place to trade it.
Use something else when
You need public visibility for everything you post — in that case work the open network directly and skip the private layer.

Every posted need travels the same path. Follow it forward or back.
Questions
What is a private nonprofit partner network?
A private partner network is a closed coordination space where a defined set of organizations share needs, offers and resources without publishing them openly. In ImpactMatrix, Internal Matrix provides that with its own branding, Needs and Offers, Shipments, Deliveries, Members and Internal Chat.
How is Internal Chat different from ImpactChat?
Internal Chat is confined to your private partner network, while ImpactChat is the public coordination layer with Global Chat, direct messages and event rooms. Coalition conversations that shouldn't be public stay in Internal Chat, next to the internal needs and shipments they concern.
Can we brand the network for our coalition?
Yes. Add branding puts your coalition's identity on the private network, which matters when members from many organizations log in and need to recognize whose space it is. The underlying platform features stay the same.
Do our internal needs show up on the public network?
Internal Needs and Internal Offers live inside your private network. You decide what to post to the public network for wider reach, so a coalition can keep sensitive shortfalls internal while still using the open network when it needs to.
Is Internal Matrix available on nonprofit plans?
Internal Matrix is part of the platform and available during the 30-day free trial with no credit card. If you're unsure how it's scoped on a specific plan tier, confirm on View Plans — nonprofit plans are seat-based from $29.99 per month for a single user.
