What ImpactChat is
ImpactChat is the coordination chat built into ImpactMatrix. It has a Global Chat for every verified organization, direct messages, and event rooms with sub-rooms and templates. Messages support attachments, mentions, reactions, polls, forwarding and shared locations, a canvas lets a team write and share a document together, and a huddle starts an audio or video call. Conversations inside an Internal Matrix stay in its private Internal Chat.

Yes. ImpactChat is the public coordination layer. Internal Chat is confined to an Internal Matrix's members and sits beside the private needs and shipments they concern.
Can we make a room for one disaster?
Yes. An event room can have nested sub-rooms up to two levels deep, and you can start from a template instead of a blank room.
Can we call from the chat?
Yes. Start an audio or video call from any event room. Everyone in the room is notified, and calls end automatically after 10 minutes.
Can we work on a document together?
The canvas lets a team write and share a document beside the conversation.
