ImpactMatrix
For foundations and associations · Invite

A grantee cohort that arrives together, not one at a time.

Onboard a whole grantee cohort in one upload.

Invite takes a single email or a Bulk Upload CSV with an optional message, and lists pending invitations with sent dates and a 30-day expiry. For a foundation it is how a cohort arrives together rather than one organization at a time.

What Invite is

Invite is the member and partner onboarding tool in ImpactMatrix. You send a single email invitation or use Bulk Upload CSV for a list, add an optional message, and send. The list shows pending invitations with sent dates, and invitations expire after 30 days. Invited team members share your plan's seat allotment, which also covers ImpactVolunteer.

What you can do

Real button and tab names — the module is the same for everyone; what you do with it is not.

Bulk Upload CSV

Bring a whole coalition roster in from the spreadsheet you already keep.

Single email

Add the one partner you need on the platform before the next call.

Optional message

Say why. A bare system email gets ignored; a reason gets accepted.

Pending list

Sent dates and 30-day expiry make it a follow-up queue.

Why this matters for your organization type

The problem

Cohort convening dies in onboarding: half the grantees never join, so the funder keeps working one relationship at a time.

What the platform does

You send a single email invitation or use Bulk Upload CSV for a list, add an optional message, and send. The list shows pending invitations with sent dates, and invitations expire after 30 days. Invited team members share your plan's seat allotment, which also covers ImpactVolunteer.

What you walk away with

A member list that matches your actual grantee roster.

Not just seat provisioning

Most software invites colleagues. This invites the ecosystem — your team and the partner organizations you coordinate with. Team members consume seats from your allotment; partner organizations bring their own accounts and can be gathered into a private network.

Use ImpactMatrix when

You fund or convene organizations and want visibility into what they need plus evidence of what moved.

Use something else when

You need application intake, review scoring or payment scheduling — that stays in your grants system.

Questions

What should a funder's invitation say?

Why you are convening and what grantees get from it. An invitation that reads as a funder requirement gets accepted and ignored; one that offers visibility into supply and peer capacity gets used.

Do grantee accounts cost us seats?

Partner organizations joining with their own accounts do not consume your seat allotment. Only team members you invite into your own organization do.

What does this cost a foundation?

Foundation plans use the same seat structure as nonprofit plans: $29.99 per month for a single user, then $24.99, $19.99 or $14.99 per user on Growth, Community and Enterprise. Thirty-day free trial, no credit card, ImpactVolunteer included.

How do I invite partners to ImpactMatrix?

Open Invite Members, enter a single email address or use Bulk Upload CSV for a list, add an optional message, and select Send Invitation. Pending invitations appear with their sent date, and each expires 30 days after it is sent.
